How do I submit a session proposal for the 2017 InnoTech Austin event?
Please email the following information regarding your session proposal to Sean Lowery. Submissions will be accepted until July 15, 2017

In a Microsoft Word document, Please provide the following information:

Session Title – The title of your session.
Subject Matter – Indicate the subject area that the proposal will address.
Presenter Information – Contact information and bio of all session presenters.
Education Level – Indicate the educational level of the presentation (beginner, intermediate, advanced)
Session Length – Generally, InnoTech sessions are 50 minutes in length. In rare cases, special accommodations can be arranged.
Summary – 2-4 sentences that describe the presentation content. This will be used in the final program guide to attract attendees.
Abstract – In 100 words or less, describe the theme and purpose of this presentation. One descriptive paragraph on the presentation that details the benefits of the session. If your proposal is selected, the information you provide will be the basis for conference publicity. Be sure to focus on what attendees will gain from attending your session. What they will be able to take away. Text may be edited for use in conference materials.
Equipment – Our conference rooms come equipped with projector, screen and microphone. If selected, you are responsible for bringing your presentation pre-loaded onto a laptop. If special equipment is needed, please indicate that here. InnoTech does not guarantee this request will be accommodated.

What Audio Visual equipment is provided in the sessions?
The following equipment & furnishings are provided
in each CONFERENCE ROOM:

Large Projection Screen (8ft x 8ft or larger)
House Sound System
Podium Microphone
Table for literature and materials

When is the deadline to register as a speaker?
Although speakers may register anytime up to (and at) the event, we STRONGLY encourage all speakers to register online by November 10, 2017.  (People who register online get their badges at the event MUCH faster than those that did not register in advance.)

When can I expect to receive my badge in the mail?
Badges will not be mailed in advance. Instead you’ll receive a printable receipt/confirmation upon registering online which includes a unique barcode tied to your registration record. To expedite your on-site check-in, you’ll need to bring that registration confirmation (printed out or on your smartphone) and bring it with you to on-site registration outside Ballroom D at the Austin Convention Center, where you will quickly print your own badge.

What are the On-Site Speaker registration hours?
Wednesday, November 15th  2:00pm – 7:00pm
Thursday, November 16th 7:30am – 4:30pm

What are the Exhibit Hall hours?
Thursday, November 16th 9:00am- 4:00pm.

Can I get into my session room the day before to set up?
No, the session rooms are available after 7:00am Thursday, November 16th only.

 

Can Speaker pass holders attend the general InnoTech sessions?
Yes, speakers are welcome to attend the general InnoTech sessions.

Can Speaker pass holders attend the special events?
The special events @ InnoTech (CIO Gala Luncheon, Women in Tech Summit luncheon, ISSA Security Summit Luncheon) require separate registration and payment.  Only sponsors and paid registrants of the above listed events are permitted access.

To secure InnoTech rate, make reservations by October 25, 2016 by calling the hotel directly (number above) and requesting the InnoTech Group Rate.  After October 25, rooms and rates are based on availability.
