The Attack Graph Model for Understanding Malware Behavior

Speaker: Matt Brinkley

Room: E146

In this talk Matt Brinkley will present the “attack graph”, a model that provides a visual, high-level and intuitive representation of malware behavior. It allows one to clearly see relationships between malware families, understand an attacker’s available options and reason about likely attack techniques. Matt will also illustrate its usage by mapping well-known malware to the attack graph as well as security controls and countermeasures.

Note: this session is a part of the NW ISSA Security Summit (a special event which requires separate payment and registration). Please see our registration page for details.
